Among 140 people who work at First Aviation Services - Teterboro:

Robert DeStefano - Manager, Line Operations Robert DeStefano spent much of the 1970s as a U.S. Air Force fuel specialist. He’s been working at TEB since 1983 and with FIRST since 1987.

His USAF supervisory experience helps with FIRST’s 30-strong line staff. “FIRST today is more standardized, more customer-oriented and better run than before. It’s very refreshing.”

Frank Smith - Night Facility Manager He’s been with FIRST 19 years, some 15 of them keeping this place running overnight. Frank's overnight team often receives glowing customer praise.

Night work allows him daytime hours for his other passion: decades as a leading local volunteer fireman and EMT. Many of his third shift team volunteer with him.  

Lauren Campbell - Customer Service Representative  

One of our newer customer service reps, Lauren's “second generation” at FIRST! Her mother worked at our old facility.

Lauren has found value working here. “You get to know people that you’d never get to speak to. New faces from many different places. It opens your eyes!”

Gustavo Granados – Transportation / Security

“I try to serve our customers the best I can. I know they’ll want to come back.” Great attitude for a new employee but not a surprise for the kind of people we hire.

Gustavo may be saving $$ for college, but he’s focused today on

Dave Goncalves - Manager of Customer Service

Dave trained hard to be an FAA air traffic controller, completing a college ATC curriculum. But he didn’t like it.

He’s been working at Teterboro for a number of years and joined FIRST in 2009. He has a passion for customer service.

“People who fly here are high-end people. They pay high-end dollars for high-end service. That’s what we have to provide.”
