FIRST's Recent "Turn Around" Resets Expectations
As a Hawker captain who has visited FBOs all over the world, I can honestly say the "turn around" in our 'expectations for service' at FIRST is unparalleled. Quite noticeable.
Not too long ago, First Aviation was NOT a place most would expect great service.
At times linemen, desk clerks, etc., behaved as if they were doing you a favor. Lackadaisical and disinterested. Now, the exact opposite is true. Outstanding people providing outstanding service. The upbeat is contagious!
On one perfect example (4-29-2010), I landed late and the linemen were rapidly deployed to my aircraft. Professional, eager to help and made me feel that took "ownership." Viewed our operation as a partnership in servicing my aircraft. Parking, pins, vacuuming, "anything and everything" to elevate our flight operations.
Inside behind the desk, the professional attitude, helping, atmosphere of 'partnership' continued. The next day on departure, the same upbeat "on top of it" line operation continued. Optimal aircraft positioning for passengers, refueling, catering, etc, etc....
Thanks to the prompt, efficient aircraft servicing, I now had the time to stop by the Customer Service Manager's desk (Dave Gonclaves) to convey my observations.
He invited me to email remarks. I am happy to do so.
Thank you. Keep up the good work! I truly look forward to stopping into FIRST on my next trip through TEB.
Thank you,
Ken Crouse

Thanks for the Quick Turn!
I would like to just take a minute to commend Paul Cialkowski for his help on our extremely tight turn to MIA the other day. We were very busy and Paul was extremely helpful in getting our fuel, GPU, and I/P/C.
He was instrumental in helping get this already late flight off the ground in a timely and efficient manner. Please pass my sincere thanks for his professionalism and hard work, it did not go unnoticed.
Thank you.

Great Ramp Crew!
Today we had the pleasure of arriving on the First Aviation ramp and had a great experience. We were greeted and handily marshalled toward a most convenient spot.
Your ramp people were attentive, professional, courteous and extremely personable. They offered additional services we might need, like doing our gear pins and engine covers. The airplane was put to bed in minutes.
This crew is grateful for ramp agents like these. Thanks so much for having such well-trained professionals on staff.
